1. Tuesday, June 24th- Summer Solstice Ride
This Tuesday’s Club ride will be the annual Summer Solstice Ride. The proposed route will be out through Midhurst to Old 2nd; continuing on the 2nd to Hillsdale; E on Mount St. Louis Road to the 6th; S on the 6th to Mill Pond Rd., then over to the 7th; S on 7th to Ridge Rd and home. The weather forecast is calling for a sunny evening so we should have plenty of light for this loop.
2. Thursday, June 26th- Club TT
This Thursday the TT will be on the Phelpston course starting at 7p.m. At the last TT we had a great turnout of 20 riders. Lets continue to build on those numbers.
3. Sunday, June 29th- Around the Lake Ride
Depending on interest and the weather forecast, the Club has planned an epic ride around Lake Simcoe for Sunday morning. The ride would leave from Fred Grant Square at 8 a.m and the total distance would be approximately 200km’s. Any riders wishing to join in for part of the ride are welcome.We will canvas the riders at the Tuesday night ride to determine interest. If you are unable to ride on Tuesday but are interested in the Sunday ride please send me an e-mail (dave@barriecycling.com)to confirm.

Sunday September 2nd, we will be having a Century ride (imperial) so a full 100 miles of fun. The ride leaves Sunnidale Park at 9:00 am sharp.

At this point this will be a self supported ride. So bring some cash for drinks and food.

If you would only like to do 90-100 km then you can have someone pick you up in Awenda park.

Starting next Tuesday evening(aug 28th) the 6:30 Sunnidale ride will be leaving from Fred Grant square at 6:00P.M. The 7:00 (ride two) Sunnidale ride will also move to Fred grant for a start time of 6:30. This allows for a quicker exit from town to get the most quality miles in for the rest of the year.

This thursday(aug 23) will be the final thursday evening training ride in Ivy, We will be aiming to start at 6:30p.m. but if you come a little late, no worries just follow the route backwards and we’ll pick you up.

Thursday nights(aug 9th) training ride will be in MIDURST. Ride starts at 7:00p.m. sharp from the corner of Finlay Mill Road and Doran road. All Members are welcome and encouraged to participate. It will be a perfect tune up for the upcoming Elliot lake O-cup as well as the Epping Interclub.

Just a quick reminder that individual time trial #7 is happening tonight(august 2nd). Location is the Oro Fairgrounds, first rider off at 7:00 so be there about 30 min before to sign in and warm up. cost $3. All bikes are welcome, Road, Mtb, TT,

This is in the forum section as well, the ride will be in Ivy Tonight. Meeting at Tiffin conservation area http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=1173135 it is on the east side of the road there is a parkign lot right off the road.

Ride starts at 7:00 PM sharp.

This Thursday is the second night out on the Midhurst training course, Meet at the general store a few minutes before 7. http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=817969 One lap on followed by one lap neutralized worked well. I think we did 4 ON laps, last time and it was a great workout.
